Bonto Korean Restaurant

We found this place by accident, we were looking for a supermarket we found on Google and spotted this place. After a quick check on Google we decided to come back one night for dinner. We arrived around 7pm to an empty restaurant, the server was friendly and welcoming. We had saw some photos online of the menu so already had an idea in mind of what we would like. We shared the vegetable mandi, beef bulgogi udon and DAK GANGJEONG FRIED CHICKEN WITH SOY SAUCE. We had a side of steamed rice. The food was way better than I had expected. By the time we left the dining room was three quarters full. Really nice, family run business: if you’re looking for Korean food in Dubrovnik would highly recommend. Prices very similar to that of the UK, we spent around £25 pp.

Located in a small shopping mall together with a movie theater and a grocery store. The restaurant opens 4-9 pm Monday to Saturday. The food was of good flavor. No bunchan . Kimchi is of extra cost. Feels like having food court take out food in a sitting down restaurant. A bit pricey as well.

Fantastic food and service. The chicken udon was so flavorful! The veggie dumplings were nice and crispy and delicious. The beef bulgogi hotpot was super filling with the different sides and so delicious. Overall great service and even better food!

This was a great break for my wife and I from all the pasta and cevapi from our Croatian trip. The Kimchi Stew was authentic, spicy and loaded with flavor. It came with a nice cucumber kimchi side dish and a potato banchan. Nice relaxing vibes outside where we could see near the ocean. The staff were attentive and quite polite, and really enjoyed our server! My wife had a bibimbop and thoroughly enjoyed it also.

Authentic Korean flavors! We had bulgogi, beef seaweed soup and deep fried shrimps. Everything was fresh and delicious. Lovely owner and attentive service from the staff! Should definitely visit for some really good Korean food in Dubrovnik!

Beat Korean food I’ve had in Europe. I wasn’t expecting to find truly authentic Korean food in Dubrovnik of all places, but it had the flavours and dishes that I had tried in Seoul. It doesn’t come up when you search through Google but there are some really good vegetarian options. I’m sure if you asked they would take out the egg to make them vegan options.

We ate here for dinner in early April and really enjoyed the experience. The food was authentic and tasted delicious. (Bimbimbap, Fried Chicken, and noodles). All of the workers were helpful and very friendly as well! Would recommend Bonto Korean Restaurant if you are looking for a taste of Korea in Dubrovnik!
